poetry from the lock down # chapter 2

You treat me like a secret

But I don’t want to be your secret anymore
I want you accept me in the broad day light
I want you to hold my hands in front of strangers passing by
I want you to plot our make out sessions at your place instead of public washrooms
I want you to accept me with an open heart.
-What I want

The green light under his name on whatsapp
I check it every time I miss him,
It feels like checking his heartbeat
It has been a week, he didn’t reply.
I am scared; I am not ready to lose him yet.
But I might have already lost him.
-I am not ready to face the actual heartbreak.
